In this episode of The Vegetable Gardening Show

In this episode of the Vegetable Gardening show, Mike chats with raised garden bed expert and author, Jeanne Grunert.  The number one question we get all the time is, "Is pressure treated lumber safe to use when building raised garden beds?"  Well Jeanne is going to tell us.

Jeanne grows in raised garden beds on her 17 acre Virginia Farm and is going to share with us the scientific data as to how pressure treated lumber is made, the chemicals that are used and, whether or not pressure treated lumber is safe to grow edibles in.

From there, Jeanne will share with us her top tips to grow a successful raised bed vegetable garden, how to improve your garden soil, and what it was like to make the big move from gardening on Long Island in NY to a huge farm in Virginia.

This, Jenny Peterson's wellness tip of the day, and so much more on this episode of The Vegetable Gardening Show!
